Authorities Rescued Man After Falling Into Hidden Manhole
A man was rescued by the authorities after accidentally falling into a drainage manhole in San Luis Village, Baguio City.
According to reports, the man was walking through the area when he unknowingly stepped into an open manhole. The opening was reportedly covered by thick grass and vegetation, making it difficult to see.
The victim failed to notice the danger ahead and suddenly fell into the deep drainage structure. The fall immediately caught the attention of nearby residents, who quickly sought help from local authorities.
Emergency responders from Police Station 1 of the Baguio City Police Office arrived at the scene together with officials from Barangay San Luis Village and personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection.
Upon arrival, the responders carefully assessed the situation and organized a rescue operation. The manhole was estimated to be around 12 to 15 feet deep, making the rescue both challenging and delicate.
