Ellen Adarna chooses to be single
Cebuana celebrity Ellen Adarna admitted that, at this point in her life, she realized that she was better off without a partner.
It is known to many showbiz fans that Ellen had a controversial relationship with actor Derek Ramsay. What they had was a sort of whirlwind romance. With just a span of months, they got engaged, and their wedding took place shortly.
However, their romance turned sour when issues surfaced between them. Ellen’s social media posts became controversial when she shared a glimpse of what happened to their relationship.
In part 2 of Melai Cantiveros’ YouTube talk show Kuan on One, with guest Ellen Adarna, they discussed various topics, including her personal life, motherhood, what she’s been through, and more.
She said that when she has a partner, she is weighed down, not to mention having to compromise and adjust. With this, the Cebuana celebrity declared, “I realized na I’m better off alone.”
Ellen also shared that she experienced a live-in set-up, and her father encouraged her to have this setup so she could learn. She also openly said that she no longer believes in love and that she only believes in a mother’s love.
“Ngayon, hindi na talaga. Okay na ako,” she said. Melai, on the other hand, said that Ellen is traumatized by what she has been through in her love life.
Ellen Adarna also said that once she ends a relationship, it’s over, and she never goes back to her ex.
In part 1, Ellen revealed that she did not follow her father’s advice not to get married because she got married to Derek Ramsay. Unfortunately, they broke up.
In the same episode, Ellen Adarna shared a funny story about her grandmother, Leah, who was the reason behind the famous tourist spot in Cebu, the Temple of Leah. She revealed that the structure was intended to be a storage of her grandmother’s belongings.
