One of the passengers, Jean Jawom, who was heading to Butuan City, mentioned that she checked in her baggage early to steer clear of any issues during the brownout. She appreciated the airport’s effort to notify passengers in advance, helping them to prepare better and avoid delays.

Another passenger, Bea Diane Magno, who was there to see off her sister traveling to Cotabato, said that they did not face any important delays or problems during the brief power interruption.

Magno noted that while the short power cut was manageable, a longer outage could be risky for passengers, leading to potential security issues and discomfort due to heat.

The lady passenger explained that during a blackout, it’s easy to lose track of personal belongings in the dark, making it important to stay vigilant. She also mentioned the discomfort of the rising temperature without power.
