In a statement, Maris Racal clarifies something about the split.
ABS-CBN actress-singer Maris Racal says love team Anthony Jennings is not in any way involved in her split with Rico Blanco.
Many were surprised but, at the same time, heartbroken, when actress-singer Maris Racal announced that she and OPM icon Rico Blanco have broken up. She was triggered to drop the truth after she was asked about seeing herself married to him.
With teary eyes, she gave up fragile from her emotions and revealed the truth. She can no longer hold it in and just nod and smile at every question associated with him when at the back of her head, she knows the truth.
A few weeks ago, Maris and Rico broke up. It was still fresh, hence, her emotional state. It was painful and heartbreaking but it was a “very polite” separation.
To clarify one thing, she said that her love team Anthony Jennings has nothing to do with the breakup. She said in the interview that he is entirely out of the picture.
She also added a plea to the public to not direct hate or any negative comments at Rico as he is accordingly “too precious for that”. Should they throw punches, she expressed that she is willing to take them all.
Racal pleads to the fans to see their situation with understanding as she and Blanco are still “grieving” over their separation.

In the same event, Maris shared that the split happened a few weeks ago and those weeks were the emptiest and the loneliest ones of her life. It was still fresh and what happened was difficult but Rico had taken it like a man when she confessed to him her issues and problems.
