Search for Pastor Apollo Quiboloy Continues, Reward Money Is Up
APOLLO QUIBOLOY – The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) announced that a Php 10 million reward is up for information that can lead to the Pastor’s arrest.
Quiboloy is undeniably one of the popular personalities in the field of religion as well as politics. He is the founder and leader of the KOJC or the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. While he is not occupying a position in the government, he is close to a lot of big politicians in the country.
Quiboloy is close to former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte as well as to Senator Cynthia Villar. There were even previous reports that Pastor Quiboloy has given former Pres. Duterte a house as a gift. The two have a deal about it.
However, the recent reports about the Pastor does not favor his side. There were complaints that led to charges being filed against him.
Currently, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is nowhere to be found. He went into hiding shortly after the Senate issued a warrant of arrest against him for not attending the hearing set by the upper chamber.
The police authorities have conducted a raid on several properties of the Pastor in Davao City, Samal Island to serve the warrant against him but to no avail. He is facing several charges including an alleged violation of the Republic Act 7610 that protects the right of children.
Recently, in a press conference as per a GMA News report, a reward money is up for any information that could lead to the arrest of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy. The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) announced that a Php 10 million reward money awaits for valid information on the whereabouts of ther Pastor.
According to DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos, there are “friends” who want to help in the search of Quiboloy as well as the other five (5) accused. Based on the report, aside from the Php 10 million reward money for information about the Pastor’s whereabouts, Php 1 million reward money is up for information on each of the other co-accused of the Pastor.
In 2022, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation also issued “wanted” posters for the Filipino Pastor and two (2) members of his church namely Helen Panilag and Teresita Tolibas Dandan.
