Bea Alonzo Banned In It’s Showtime? Netizens Ask

Why did Bea Alonzo miss promoting her new series in It’s Showtime?

Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo was not in It’s Showtime with Carla Abellana to promote their new series and this made netizens wonder why.

A couple of days ago, Carla Abellana graced ‘It’s Showtime’ to greet the Kapamilya audience and promote her upcoming drama series “Widow’s War”. This series also stars Jean Garcia, Jackie Lou Blanco, Timmy Cruz, Rita Daniela, Benjamin Alves, and Rafael Rosell.

This is directed by award-winning director Zig Dulay.

One of the lead casts is former Kapamilya actress Bea Alonzo whose absence in Showtime was noticed by a lot of people. Many people wondered why she is not present in the noontime program for the promotion of her series.

This topic was discussed by Ogie Diaz in his new video. They weighed down the possible reasons as to why she is not there. First, it doesn’t surely have to do with Vice Ganda as they just previously bonded in an event for her business.

She’s also the type not to burn bridges with her former network, her home for almost two decades.

Is she banned in other Kapamilya shows following what happened in 2021?

The answer is not certain but it could be because she is not available, has prior commitments, or it could be she’s outside the country doing something.

To recall, Bea announced her transfer to GMA in 2021 which saddened a lot of people. This was years after ABS-CBN failed to secure a franchise.  On July 2021, she officially inked a contract with the Kapuso network, the media company that fully embraced her and gave her a big welcome to their network.

Meanwhile, in a previous article, Alonzo debunked rumors about her new boyfriend months after her wedding engagement with Dominic Roque has been called off.
