Bea Alonzo Confirms Transfer To GMA, Netizens Express Sadness

Some people online expressed dismay after Bea Alonzo left ABS-CBN.

BEA ALONZO – Former Kapamilya actress Bea Alonzo signs a contract with GMA-7 and some netizens aired their sadness about it.

It has been some time that rumors about A-list actress Bea Alonzo transferring to another network after ABS-CBN failed to secure a franchise. GMA Network on Wednesday teased about “one of the biggest artists in Philippine showbiz” will become a Kapuso and many could not help but guess that it is the actress since the chances are high. She did not renew her contract with the Kapamilya network when it expired months ago.

There reports before from the GMA Network board director, programming consultant to the chair/CEO of GMA Network, and GMA Films president Annette Gozon-Valdes that they are in talks with Bea’s possible network transfer. The actress is also going to do the Philippine adaptation of the 2004 Korean film “A Moment to Remember” together with Alden Richards and this will be co-produced by Viva Films, GMA Pictures, and APT Entertainment.

And on July 1, it is finally confirmed that Alonzo is now a Kapuso after inking a contract with them. While some are happy over her career, some were not and aired their sadness in social media.
