Timmy Cruz is part of Bea Alonzo’s new Kapuso series
Seasoned actress Timmy Cruz shared her working relationship with Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo in the sereis Widow’s War.
Bea is the lead actress in the murder mystery series with Kapuso’s homegrown talent Carla Abellana. The new series is set to premiere on July 1 and fans of the two prominent actresses are excited to see them together in one frame for the first time.
This is also the first project that Timmy has with Bea. The seasoned actress took a break for many years but now she has her comeback through the Kapuso series.
In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Timmy Cruz was asked about her working relationship with Bea Alonzo. The seasoned actress said that it is her first time working with Bea and she’s happy working with the younger actress. She is playing the character of Mercy Castillo, the mother of Sam Castillo who is played by Bea.
Timmy also shared that even before, she had been watching Bea’s projects. “All these years… pinanonood ko ang movies niya. Napakagaling niyang artista at napakaganda,” she said.
She also said that it is a great opportunity to be with Bea on a project. Timmy also enjoys portraying the character of Bea’s mother in the series. “Thank you so much for this beautiful opportunity,” Timmy Cruz said.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Carla Abellana also shared beautiful words about Bea Alonzo. She shared that she discovered how “calm, proper, patient, professional and dedicated” Bea is when it comes to her craft. This is the third Kapuso series of Bea. The first one she did was Start-Up PH with Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards and this was followed by Love Before Sunrise with drama king Dennis Trillo.
