Albie Casiño defended Nikko Natividad
Actor Nikko Natividad received support from his fellow actor Albie Casiño amid the recent issue.
Nikko was under fire after he shared an intriguing post that was connected to the “nakaw na halik” issue on It’s Showtime‘s Expecially For You segment. Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda withdrew his supposed apology to searchee Axel Cruz after his supposed “BroCode” handshake with searcher Christine.
Vice said in his statement that after investigation and the analysis of experts, they were right when they criticized what the searchee did because he allegedly tried to kiss the searcher.
Nikko Natividad shared his thoughts on this issue in a Facebook post. He said that Axel was put into a shameful situation and he pitied the guy for this. With this post, it was speculated that he was attacking Vice Ganda.
Because of this, the former Hashtag member was criticized by netizens, especially by fans of the Kapamilya noontime show. Although he deleted his post later on, Nikko was still firm in what he believed in. He said that it was just the management’s decision to remove his post.
On the other hand, there were those who showed support for Nikko and one of them was Albie. The latter shared the former Hashtag member’s post reiterating his point in his now-deleted post with the intention that this might change something.
In his caption, Albie commended Nikko for speaking up. He also said that there is nothing wrong in speaking up but it is wrong that people would want Nikko to lose his job for sharing his opinion
“Wala naman mali sa sinabi ni Nikko, lahat naman tayo may sariling opinion and we all [have] the right to voice that. Ang mahirap is gusto niyo mawalan ng trabaho ang taong nag susuport ng pamilya dahil lang sa opinion niya,” Albie said in his IG Story.
To recall, some netizens who commented on Nikko Natividad’s post expressed that he should not be given any projects anymore.
