Road in Pangasinan to be Blessed After Series of Accidents

Pangasinan Residents Seek to Bless a Particular After Series of Accidents

Pangasinan residents want a particular road to be blessed by a priest due to the numerous accidents that have occurred there.

A road accident is an unexpected event that occurs on a road, involving at least one vehicle, which results in damage, injury, or even death. These accidents can involve cars, motorcycles, bicycles, pedestrians, or other road users.

Some common causes of road accidents are driver’s error due to overspeeding, distracted driving, drunk driving, and not following traffic rules. Poor road conditions such as potholes, uneven surfaces, and inadequate signage can contribute to accidents.

Extreme weather conditions including rain, fog, snow, and ice can make roads slippery and reduce visibility causing accidents. Mechanical failures such as brake failure or tire blowouts, can lead to unfortunate incidents.

Recently, some residents in Barangay Bued, Calasiao, Pangasinan, want the said road to be blessed by a priest due to the numerous accidents recorded in the area.

CCTV footage from the barangay shows a motorcycle rider falling down while a truck was turning. In another CCTV clip on the same road, a red car crashes into the front of another vehicle, while a motorcycle collides with the back of the red car.

According to the barangay’s records, three people died on this road in May alone due to accidents. Some of these incidents were caught on CCTV. The local church has scheduled a blessing ceremony for the road.

Authorities are reminding drivers to always be cautious and drive safely.
