Former actress Queenie Padilla and her husband are now separated.
QUEENIE PADILLA – The former actress and her Pakistani husband are now separated from each other and this is the reason why.
Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla is not the only daughter of Robin Padilla who entered showbiz. His eldest with his ex-wife Liezl Sicangco also tried to do showbiz but two years later, she left and focused on her religion and her married life.
She married Pakistani Usama Rashid Mir, and they have one daughter. They got married in September 2012 but over 11 years into marriage, the couple decided to separate and this is a sad news she shared in her latest Instagram post.
Queenie announced her separation from her husband and it was a decision not done overnight. They fought to make the marriage work but to no avail. The marriage failed but her love, honor, and respect for the father of her child will remain.
“Assalamualaikum, after much thought and consideration my husband and I have decided to seperate due to irreconcilable incompatibility,” she said citing that the reason for their separation is because of “irreconcilable incompatibility”. She even described him as “a great father and responsible human being”.
They tried hard for years and months to work things out but life has a different decision for them. An hour after posting the announcement, Queenie told her followers that she will temporarily go offline.
She said, “Thank you for all your prayers and support. Jazak’Allahu Khair. I will be going offline starting tomorrow.”

Queenie has been married since 2012. As an actress, she appeared in her dad’s TV series ‘Totoy Bato’ and ‘Tum, My Pledge of Love’. After her appearance in the latter project, she has not returned to acting since.
