Man May Get in Trouble for Maltreating Dog in Pasig City

Recently, a cruel individual was caught on camera maltreating a dog. The suspect might get in trouble for picking up and spinning a dog around by its leash. The incident happened early on Monday morning (May 6, 2024) in Pasig City.
In the video, the dog can be heard howling while being maltreated by its owner. Bothered by the noise, the uploader stepped out of the house and saw a guy walking down the street, mistreating a dog.
This isn’t the first time people in the neighborhood saw the man being mean to his dogs. The person had their phone and recorded the incident. They posted the video online so others could see what was happening to the dogs.
Barangay Pineda Security personnel Eric Zuniga said they’ve received complaints about the same guy before, but nobody has officially filed a complaint against the suspect.
Some animal groups are working together to save the dogs that were treated badly. The dogs are now safe with an animal group, according to a barangay official.
