One of the Gen Z celebs we’ve been keeping our eye on lately is Anji Salvacion. She’s been dominantly on TV since 2021 but actually, her career beginning can be traced back in 2019. Her real name is Angie Kristine Allen Salvacion Gorbulev in Siargao, Surigao del Norte to a Pinay mother and a Russian father.
She started in the industry with the hopes of becoming a singer but in the recent years, she also started doing acting. She auditioned for Idol Philippines in 2019 but did not make it far in the competition. However, this opportunity gave her the exposure she needed.
The actress-singer joined Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10 in 2021 and emerged as the Ultimate Big Winner. Anji won the PBB Kumunity and won a big prize. In this reality show, she was dubbed “Ang Singing Sweetheart ng Siargao” and this is where she started to expand in her career.
Recently, in an interview, she was asked as to is the actor she wishes she could work with and she initially answered Harry Styles. She furthered into answering the question when asked about the local personality she would want to work with.
Her answer was, “Puwede si Enrique Gil? Huwag na nga lang baka ma-bash ako rito.”
According to her, she rarely sees the actor even though they are just under the same network. There have been opportunities but she misses the chance most of the time. She also added that she is a fan of LizQuen, the love team of Gil and actress Liza Soberano.
If she ever gets the chance to work with him, she’d like a role as his sibling and not his love team. She expressed, “Okay na ako maging kapatid, Ma’am. Sister na lang. Hello, Kuya!”
