Recently, a man pretending to be a policeman pawned the motorcycle he stole in Caloocan City. According to the motorcycle owner Christopher Muñoz, the suspect approached their home and asked their sibling to test drive the vehicle.

“Wala ako sa bahay that time noong pumunta siya (suspek). Ang inabutan niya ay ‘yung kapatid ko,” said Muñoz.

The next day, they reportedly spoke with the suspect, who promised to return the motorcycle. However, they later discovered that it had been pawned at a gambling den.

After Christopher posted about the incident on social media, he learned that many others had fallen victim to similar schemes. It was also discovered that the suspect had no affiliation with the police.

Christopher sought assistance from the authorities, but the case couldn’t be processed immediately because the important documents were left inside the motorcycle. This was because Christopher’s sibling had recently applied as a delivery rider and needed the documents for work.

He didn’t just take an object or a motorcycle; he also took away my sibling’s livelihood,” he said. Christopher lamented that the suspect didn’t just take an object but he also took away his sibling’s livelihood
