The online community demands accountability for the tragic death of a beloved golden retriever named “Killua” in Bicol. The heartbreaking incident has sparked outrage and calls for justice after a viral post exposed the cruel fate that befell the defenseless dog.
Killua’s family in Bato, Camarines Sur, was devastated to discover their beloved pet lifeless inside a sack.
A disturbing CCTV footage captured a man identified as “Anthony Solares” chasing and viciously beating Killua leading up to the unexpected demise of the defenseless dog. The video immediately spread like wildfire online.
According to Vina Rachelle, Killua’s fur mom, the golden retriever had ventured out of their gate around 5:40 AM before being pursued by the suspect wielding a hard object. The heart-breaking footage shows Anthony’s cruelty upon Killua, who was later found motionless and discarded in a makeshift kitchen.
Vina Rachelle expressed her suspicions that Solares intended to consume Killua, citing the presence of cooking equipment and coal near where the dog was discovered. Determined to seek justice for her beloved pet, she vowed to pursue legal action against the suspect.
The grieving fur mommy expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support received in seeking justice for Killua. She reassured supporters of her commitment to holding the suspect accountable and putting an end to the abuse and senseless killing of dogs.
However, Solares explained that he beats the dog thinking the canine might harm his daughter.
“Kasu kasu ka pa, ano ba ginawa kung mali!? kayu itung nagpapakawala ng aso na delikado, paano pag nakagat ang anak ko? hwalang mapapala iyan dahil kamag-anak namin pulitiko,” Solares said.

Vina explained that her golden retriever did not intend to cause any harm and just jumped from their gate because it might have been stressed.
Eventually, Anthony expressed remorse for his actions, saying, “Aku rin ay nakikiramay sa pagkamatay ni Killua. At ako naman ay humihingi ng dispensa. Maski man sana maintindihan nindo na ako lang nagdepensa kan sakong pamilya, an sakong aki, grabe ang kahadok kun saindang sinugod an aso. Pasensya na.”
