Dennis Padilla Reveals He Received A Message From Daughter Julia Barretto
DENNIS PADILLA – Actor and comedian Dennis Padilla said he received a message from his daughter Julia Barretto.
Marjorie Barretto and Dennis Padilla ended their relationship in 2007, leading to a strained connection with their children Julia, Claudia, and Leon. Over the years, their estranged relationship has been evident and well-known.
In an interview, Julia expressed her reluctance to reconcile with her father after years of a challenging and inconsistent connection. The repeated hurt they caused each other eventually wore her out, and she decided it was time to step back.
Dennis Padilla celebrated his 62nd birthday on February 9, 2024; and it turned out to be one of his happiest birthdays as he received greetings from his daughter, Julia Barretto.
Dennis was among the actors who supported the third reading of Senate Bill 2505 or the Eddie Garcia Bill held in the Senate on Monday, February 19, 2024.
After the Senate session, Dennis and his group decided to have a meal at a restaurant, joined by Senator Robinhood Padilla. Robin is one of the authors mentioned in the said proposal.
Based on a report from PEP, during the dinner, Dennis Padilla shared the story of the text message he received from his estranged daughter, Julia Barretto, during his birthday celebration.
Senator Robin took a video showing Dennis extremely delighted that he had communicated with his daughter.
This is a positive sign that their father-daughter relationship may be on the path to reconciliation.
“Julia, thank you at nag-text ka sa akin nung birthday ko,” said Dennis.
He followed it with an invitation, ‘Yung movie ni Julia, palabas pa. Panoorin ninyo, kasama si Aga Muhlach, Ikaw Pa rin ang Pipiliin Ko.”
Dennis’ loved ones were overjoyed by the good news he shared. This wasn’t given much attention by people because of the viral post of Robin’s wife, Mariel Padilla.
