Rod Stewart’s Concert in the PH Abruptly Canceled, Live Nation Confirms
ROD STEWART – The highly-anticipated Manila concert of British singer-songwriter Rod Stewart was canceled.
Rod Stewart, a British singer-songwriter in the rock and pop genres, is recognized for his unique raspy voice, dynamic stage presence, and a repertoire of hit songs that span numerous decades.
Born on January 10, 1945, in London, England, Stewart gained prominence during the late 1960s and early 1970s as part of the Jeff Beck Group and Faces, ultimately transitioning into a highly successful solo career.

The scheduled concert of the singer-songwriter in the country has been called off, according to an announcement from Live Nation Philippines. The local concert promoter had plans to present the much-anticipated show, “Rod Stewart Live in Concert, One Last Time,” in Manila on March 13, 2024, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The cancellation announcement came as a surprise to Rod Stewart’s fans, who were eagerly anticipating the live performance. Live Nation Philippines did not provide additional information regarding the reasons behind the cancellation but assured ticket holders would be refunded as soon as possible.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret to announce that the show scheduled for March 13, 2024 at SM Mall Of Asia Arena has been canceled,” Live Nation Philippines said.
“Fans who have purchased tickets will receive a full refund through the original payment method. For cash refunds, you may register via smtickets.com/refunds. You may also email [email protected] for card reversals and cash refunds,” they added.
