Julia Barretto has this plea to the public
Actress Julia Barretto has a new movie with seasoned actor Aga Muhlach and she asked the public to give their project a chance.
Julia has established her name as one of the prominent actresses of her generation. She was one of those actresses who came from a loveteam. After her onscreen partnership era with Joshua Garcia, she was able to prove that she can still be successful outside the loveteam.
From that, Julia started to portray more mature roles. One of her recent movie projects is the film Ikaw Pa Rin Ang Pipiliin Ko. Previously, she said that working with Aga made her so nervous.
Just recently, Julia Barretto shared photos on her Instagram page taken from her film with Aga Muhlach. It is a romance-drama movie which is set to be released in cinemas on February 7. “Please give our film a chance,” the actress wrote in the caption of her post.
Julia received different reactions from netizens who commented in the comment section of her post. Some were so honest in saying that they didn’t like the theme of the movie while some said that they were anticipating this to be released in cinemas.
“I really want to watch coz it’s you. It’s just that I don’t want to normalize older men going for younger women. Ayoko ng ganung trope. Still love you juls, sorry.,” a netizen commented while the other one said, “Cant wait to see you on the big screen, Juju.”
In the movie trailer, it showed that Julia’s character joined a choir which is being conducted by Aga’s character. Then, Aga’s character learned that Julia’s character sings off-key and so he had a one-on-one music lesson with her.
Eventually, they became close and Julia’s character showed affection to Aga’s character, and she tried to kiss him but he avoided her attempt.
