‘Pipityuging Babae’ Remark Sparks Outrage as Joshua Fiercely Defends Jopay Paguia
JOPAY PAGUIA – A harsh pipityuging babae remark aimed at Jopay Paguia quickly turned into a viral moment after her husband Joshua Zamora decided to finally speak up.
Sexbomb Girls member and actress-dancer Jopay Paguia expressed deep appreciation for her husband Joshua Zamora after he publicly defended her against a harsh and judgmental basher on social media.
The issue started when a netizen insulted Jopay by calling her a “pipityuging babae” and told Joshua that he had “settled” for “a dancer only.” The comment sparked outrage among fans, especially after Joshua decided to respond—something Jopay said he rarely does.

In an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Jopay explained why her husband felt compelled to finally speak up. She shared that Joshua is not the type to engage with haters or trolls online, as he usually finds such exchanges shallow and unnecessary. However, this time, Joshua felt that the basher had crossed the line.
Last month, the basher wrote a lengthy comment saying that Joshua was “wasted” on Jopay and claimed that many female politicians and doctors supposedly liked him, but he ended up with “a dancer,” implying that this choice led to hardship.
Naghihirap tuloy,” the netizen commented.

Joshua responded with a firm but faith-centered message, emphasizing that a person’s worth should not be measured by profession, title, or social status.
Sabi nga sa 1 Samuel 16:7, ‘People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.’”
He went on to stress that his choice was intentional and rooted in love, faith, and partnership, quoting several Bible verses to support his message.
Joshua’s response earned praise online, with many netizens commending him for standing up for his wife with dignity, respect, and strong values.
