Julia Barretto still can’t believe that she now has a project with Aga Muhlach
Actress Julia Barretto shared her thoughts on working with seasoned Aga Muhlach in the movie Forgetting Canseco.
Julia has been very busy these past few months. Her recent project is with Aga and the movie is directed by Denise O’Hara. The actress talks about this in a recent interview, based on the article in PEP.
She admitted that this reality has not sunk in her yet. The actress can’t believe yet that she is working with the award-winning actor.
“Totoo ba ito? I don’t know… is this real life? I am so deeply honored and really grateful to be a part of this,” Julia Barretto said. She also said that she is excited about this project but this meant a different thing for her.
“I meant it when I said I’m excited. I’m really very nervous. Obviously, the legend, the heartthrob… kidding aside, it’s the truth,” Julie stressed.
She also shared that even before, if she would be asked who she wants to work with, she would often say Aga Muhlach. The actress said that she is really nervous about this but stressed that this is her dream.
Julia also shared that during the look test, she immediately sent photos to her mother Marjorie Barretto. It is because her mom knows that it is her dream project and that they are excited for her.
“I think I had a moment last night na parang there’s just so many emotions na dala-dala ko ngayon. Nangingibabaw yung gratitude ko lang,” she added.
Julia Barretto is the third generation of Barrettos who were able to work with Aga Muhlach. The actor worked with Gretchen Barretto in Miguelito, Batang Rebelde (1985) and Akin Ka… Magdusa Man Ako! (1991) while he worked with Claudine Barretto in the movie Kailangan Kita (2002).
