Lucena City Mayor Mark Alcala, the rumored boyfriend of Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo, allegedly had an extended vacation even though he did not file for leave.
Rumors linking Kathryn and Mark had been lingering in showbiz circles for several months now. Allegedly, they had their secret getaways abroad. Just recently, it was also alleged that they were spotted together at a restaurant having dinner with the mayor’s family.
This was debunked by Kathryn’s fans. They accused the uploader of claiming that it was the actress in the photo, even though it was just a back profile of a woman.
Amid the bashing from the fandom of the actress, the uploader insisted that there was no deception in her post. However, she said that it was saddening that some people resorted to AI just to cover the truth.
Because of this rumored relationship, Kathryn Bernardo and Mark Alcala had been receiving negative reactions online. One of the recent posts that was shared on Reddit against the Mayor was about his extended vacation.
The netizen shared a screenshot of a Reddit comment saying that, according to a source from City Hall, Mark did not file for leave, but still, he was on vacation after the holidays.
“Yung Mayor namin dito sa Lucena, after ng mahabang Christmas vacation, tuloy pa din ang bakasyon. Lahat bumalik na sa sa trabaho pero si Mayor Alcala 1week missing in action sa munisipyo. Saan ba pumapasok si Mayor?” the netizen wrote.
Allegedly, after the holidays, everyone has returned to their work, but it has been a week since Mayor Mark has not reported to the city hall, and his absences have been paid. “Pumasok sa munisiypio, AYAW! Magbakasyon sa 5⭐️hotel/resort with gf, GUSTO,” the netizen added.
In the comment section, a netizen shared a photo of Mark Alcala that was allegedly taken a couple of days ago at Rockwell, Makati. “While it’s true na nakasabay ko siya mag shopping sa rockwell, the photo is not mine, hindi rin po ako yung nasa pic, it’s my friend who works at rockwell na mahilig magpapic sa mga celeb na nakikita niya, photo taken on the same day na nakita ko siya,” the netizen claimed.
