Questions about the authenticity of the PCSO Lotto Winner surfaced
This photo of a PCSO Lotto Winner received funny reactions from netizens as they were saying that it was “edited” poorly.
Just recently, the official Facebook page of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office announced that the jackpot winner of the Lotto 6/42 that was drawn on Dec. 28, 2023, with a prize of P43,882,361.60, claimed her winnings a day after the draw.
The winner is a 47-year-old housewife from Bulacan. It was said that she plans “to invest her winnings in business, buy a new home, and deposit the rest into her two children’s savings accounts.”
The PCSO Lotto Winner shared that her winning number, 8-34-01-11-28-04, is taken from her family’s birthdates while she chose the number ‘28’ because she said it represents a car and the number ‘34’ a house.
Included in the post is the photo of the winner receiving the check from a representative of PCSO and the winning ticket. In the comment section of this post, netizens commented congratulations but most of them directed this message to the PCSO itself.
Some questioned the authenticity of the winner as they pointed out that the photo was obviously “edited.” A lot of funny comments were also shared like calling the winner a paper doll and one said that it was like cartoons.
