Maria Ozawa’s Reaction to David Licauco’s Family Feud Answer Is Going Viral
MARIA OZAWA – Japanese model and a former p*rnographic film actress Maria Ozawa reacted to David Licauco’s widely circulated Family Feud answer.
Maria Ozawa, the partner of former Pinoy Fear Factor contestant, ABS-CBN actor, and chef Jose Sarasola, made their relationship public in 2017, and the Japanese actress resided in the Philippines. However, with the onset of the pandemic, they initially believed it would be short-lived, but Maria eventually returned to Japan to be with her family. This led to the couple embracing a long-distance relationship.
In an interview with Inquirer, Maria Ozawa openly acknowledged that Angelica Panganiban bears a striking resemblance to her. She expressed admiration, saying, “She’s like my doppelganger. She’s so sweet. I love her.” Maria expressed a desire to collaborate on a project with her Filipino look-alike in the future.
Maria Ozawa watched the viral video of David Licauco when he appeared on the GMA-7 game show Family Feud, where the Kapuso actor mentioned the name of the Japanese actress.
In the episode of Family Feud on January 8, 2024, David played with his friends, including actor Dustin Yu. “Team David” competed against “Team Barbie,” led by the actor’s love team partner, Barbie Forteza.
The actress was accompanied by her father, Tony, and her makeup artist and stylist.
Host Dingdong Dantes asked the third-round question to complete the name “Maria.” The top answer was “Maria Clara,” which David’s team successfully obtained.
However, when Dingdong Dantes individually asked them for their answers, everyone was surprised by the response of the so-called “Pambansang Ginoo”.
“Ozawa!” was David’s answer, referring to the Japanese actress.
David received a slew of playful teasing and banter, and even he was surprised by his own response. The video clip of David’s answer quickly trended on social media, reaching Maria.
On January 10, Maria reposted the video clip from Family Feud on her Instagram Stories.
It can be inferred that Maria was also surprised by David’s answer, as she referred to the Kapuso heartthrob as “cute.”
“He’s so cute [laughing in tears and heart emojis],” Maria said.
