In one of her recent posts, the former Pinoy Big Brother host shared something about her family but this time, it is a heart-wrenching scenario.
Mariel Padilla bid goodbye to her mom but her post was filled with gratefulness. “Thanks for always being proud of me. Rest now mom,” the wife of Senator Robin Padilla wrote in the caption of her post.
This received heartwarming messages from celebrities in the Philippine entertainment industry. Among the many commenters was her close friend Toni Gonzaga. They have been friends since they co-hosted PBB.
“Prayers and tight hug Ma…Deepest condolences…” the Ultimate Multimedia Star commented. Mariel is also close to Toni’s younger sister Alex Gonzaga who commented, “Ate ma….. our deepest condolences. Praying for your family’s healing…. May the Lord be with you. We love you.”
In another post, Mariel shared a photo montage of her mom and she featured the song Wind Beneath My Wings by Bette Midler. The celebrity, who is known as the Live Selling Queen, did share other details surrounding the death of her mom.
Meanwhile, Mariel Padilla has concentrated on doing vlogs and live selling these past few years. She is one of the celebrities who ventured into online selling during the pandemic. She had her TV comeback through the morning talk show M.O.M.s (Mhies On A Mission) on ALLTV with Ruffa Gutierrez and Ciara Sotto.
However, this was discontinued when the network announced temporarily stop airing some of its shows.
