SC to Release BAR Exam Results September 2023 on December 5, 2023 (Tuesday)

BAR EXAM RESULTS September 2023 – The Supreme Court is set to release the exam results on December 5, 2023 (Tuesday).

The Philippine Supreme Court Public Information Office announced that the gates of the Supreme Court Main Building will be open from 12:00 noon to 6:00 P.M on Tuesday.

SC aims to accommodate those who wish to witness to check BAR EXAM RESULTS September 2023. The licensure exam results will be live-streamed in Facebook and YouTube.

Previously, Bar Chairperson, Associate Justice Hernando announced that BAR exam results will be released before Christmas Day (December 25, 2023).

“Moreover, there will be simultaneous oath taking and signing of the Roll of Attorneys in December also before Christmas Day so that we will have our new batch of full-fledged lawyers before 2023 ends,” he said.

BAR examinees must obtain a general average of 75% and no grade lower than 50% in any subject to pass the examination. However, SC En Banc  may change the passing percentage.

The September 2023 BAR examination is the 121st licensure exams for aspiring lawyers. Over 10, 000 individuals took the BAR examinations.

BAR Exams cover the following topics:

• Remedial Law, Legal and Judicial Ethics with Practical Exercises (25%)
• Commercial and Taxation Laws (20%)
• Civil Law (20%)
• Political and Public International Law (15%)
• Labor Law and Social Legislation (10%)
• Criminal Law (10%)

BAR exams have been conducted on September 17 (Sunday), 20 (Wednesday), and 24 (Sunday), 2023.

BAR passers will have their oath-taking and roll-signing ceremonies on December 22, 2023 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.
