NOVALICHES, QUEZON CITY – The cops arrested a hot-headed rider for disrespecting two traffic enforcers during an apprehension.
Novaliches PNP officers arrested a motorcycle rider for physically assaulting two traffic enforcers who were managing traffic flow. The enforcers reportedly flagged down the motorcyclist for not wearing a helmet.

A 21-year-old rider has been arrested after assaulting two traffic enforcers during an apprehension in Novaliches, Quezon City.
On Wednesday afternoon (November 29, 2023), a 21-year-old rider found himself in trouble after physically assaulting two traffic enforcers in General Luis Street in Novaliches, Quezon City.
According to initial reports from the Novaliches police, the two traffic enforcers from the Novaliches District Center were managing traffic flow when they flagged down the motorcyclist for not wearing a helmet.
“Sa halip na ibigay ang lisensya ay nakipagtalo ito nang isyuhan siya ng mga traffic enforcer ng ordinance violation receipt, hanggang sa humantong sa pananakit. Ang ginawa ng rider ay dumire-diretso, hinabol ng traffic enforcer natin, so nung inabutan hinihingi yung mga legal na dokumento. Imbes na magpaunder siya sa otoridad, sinaktan niya pa ang enforcer,” explained Novaliches Police Station Duty Shift Supervisor Police Captain Mel Tomulto.
Novaliches PNP officers arrested the suspect. The suspect explained that he was heading to Novaliches proper from his home when the incident unfolded.
“Nagsimula kasi ‘yun mam ginitgit kami, naipit ‘yung binti ng girlfriend ko, ayaw nila ako tiketan. Binibigay ko na wallet ko, lisensya. Pero tumabi ako finlag down niya ako, ayaw niya magpaticket,” added the suspect.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing. The suspect also issued an apology, expressing remorse for his actions.
“Humihingi po ako ng tawad sa lahat ng enforcer, sa lahat ng nasaktan, sa lahat nagalit, humihingi po ako ng tawad sa kanila. Nakapanakit ako ng enforcer. Humihingi po ako ng tawad sa pamilya ng enforcer, sa kahihiyan. Tanggap ko na lahat ng tao galit sa akin tanggap ko na po ‘yun,” stated the suspect.

The suspect is currently in the custody of Novaliches PNP and may face charges of direct assault and resistance and disobedience upon an agent of a person in authority as the investigation progresses.
