PAGASA Says Amihan and Shear Line to Affect PH Weather Condition

PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that the amihan and a shear line will bring rain over parts of the country.

On Monday (November 13, 2023), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The northeast monsoon and shear line will affect the country’s weather conditions.

PAGASA reported that a low-pressure area was last spotted 1,400 kilometers east of northeastern Mindanao. It has a great chance to develop into a typhoon within the next few hours. It may also enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

Badrina said the possible storm may enter the country’s vicinity by Wednesday or Thursday.

The northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley and Apayao. Possible flash floods or landslides are expected in these areas due to flash floods or landslides.

The monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon, and the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region.
