Here is the list of Miss Universe 2023 hosts
The all-female lineup of Miss Universe 2023 hosts is finally revealed as the 72nd edition of the most prestigious beauty pageant is set to be held on November 18.
It is quite common that former Miss Universe titleholders would go back not as contestants but as hosts or judges. This year, the Miss Universe Organization once again showcased an all-female lineup.
Based on the article in Philstar, MUO released the list of the hosts for this year’s beauty competition that will be held in El Salvador.
Former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, Jeannie Mai Jenkins, and American TV presenter Maria Menounos will be the main hosts this year. Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will be returning as a backstage correspondent with Zuri Hall.
In an interview last year, Olivia commended the evolution that the pageant has gone through over the years. “I have so much respect for the continuous evolution of the Miss Universe Organization, including the new female ownership for the first time in the company’s history,” she said.
To recall, back in 2021, Olivia received criticism for her hosting style during the Miss Universe competition.
On Instagram, Catriona expressed her excitement about this hosting stint. “See you soon, El Salvador! So excited to be invited back as one of the hosts for @missuniverse,” she wrote in the caption of her post.
There will be a Spanish telecast of the pageant that will feature TV personalities Jacqueline Bracamontes and Danilo Carrera, Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza, Carlos Adyan, and Miss Universe Brazil 2020 Julia Gama.
“I’m so glad to be working with such a talented, funny, and knowledgeable group of women presenters. Our hosts this year exemplify the best of the Miss Universe family, and this is going to be a fantastic show,” MUO President Paula Shugart said.
The Miss Universe 2023 competition will be streamed live via ABS-CBN’s platforms A2Z Channel 11 and iWantTFC. The replay will be aired later in the day on the Kapamilya Channel’s Sunday Best, Metro Channel, and iWantTFC at 9:30 p.m.
