The new trailer of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” has just been released and it teased the new challenges and adventures of Tanggol, the lead role played by Coco Martin. A six-minute video was released and it showed some snippets of his new adventures with Bubbles, the role of Ivana Alawi.
They are on a mission to defeat the Red Phoenix Group.
However, their journey isn’t all about this. Along with their mission, there will be other circumstances like Tanggol finding the truth about his real father and the November 6 episode had a “quantum event” as this is the same episode where all casts would cross each other’s paths.
As they enter a new season with action-packed sequences, Ivana shared what it was like working with the actor. She also shared how she guides her in doing action scenes as someone who is doing it for the first time.
She said based on the interview, “Kapag may mali ako, kunwari hindi ko siya nagagawa ng tama, sasabihan agad ako ni Coco na ‘O, yung legs mo ganyan i-open mo pa’. Kasi syempre first action ko pa lang to eh.”
To recall, it was announced last August that Ivana would join Batang Quiapo along with other stars. She plays the role of Tanggol’s love interest after his love story with Mokang meets an unpleasant ending.
Meanwhile, Mokang or Lovi Poe spoke about Ivana as part of the series in a previous article. When she was asked about this, she expressed her excitement. She was excited to work with the new actors of the series.
Poe is the first leading lady of the actor. Before the series was launched, she was ecstatic to be a part of the TV series adaptation of this iconic film of his father Fernando Poe Jr.
