In falling out with Dani Barretto, Kier Legaspi says he can relate to the situation of Dennis Padilla.
Former actor Kier Legaspi shares something about his relationship with Dani Barretto and says that he can relate to Dennis Padilla.
“There was a fight. Parang a fight occurred one night. And hindi na namin na-resurrect that night. We just stopped talking after that fight. And then it has been seven years,” Dani Barretto said about his father Kier Legaspi in a previous article.
This statement was made in 2021 and up until now, they remained to have no connection.
She has also expressed in one of her previous interviews that her father wasn’t a big presence in her life growing up. But she had lived with him before when she was just 19 years old. It only lasted for three months and the falling out happened.
And recently, in an interview, Kier Legaspi spoke about his daughter and their relationship. There was indeed a falling out but as a parent, he is always open to welcoming her. He is giving her the time and has assured his daughter that he’s just there for her.
They have this “medyo magulo” kind of relationship but he knows one thing and that is he loves her.
“Pero never kong pinabayaan yan, and up to now mahal ko yan,” he said and added that there’s peace in his heart because God knows what he went through and the sacrifices that he made.
He also expressed that he could relate to Dennis Padilla. They might not have an entirely similar situation but he believes that there’s a resemblance.
“Ang masasabi ko kay Dennis, alam mo ang katotohanan, yun ang importante. Basta always do the right thing. Kung alam mo ang katotohanan, kung alam mo na tama ang ginagawa mo, taas-noo kang haharap sa tao,” he told him based on a report from PEP.
Dani is the daughter of Marjorie Barretto with Kier. Padilla and Barretto, on the other hand, have three children namely Julia Barretto, Claudia, and Leon.
