“Star for All Seasons” Vilma Santos graces Luis Manzano’s show.
VILMA SANTOS – The “Star for All Seasons” has appeared in the Saturday episode and has become emotional because of this.
ABS-CBN’s new variety show “It’s Your Lucky Day” is hosted by Luis Manzano. It started airing last October 14 and will eventually end on October 27. This is because this show was only designed as a temporary show to fill in the slot of It’s Showtime.
Showtime has been suspended for 12 days because of the cake incident involving hosts Vice Ganda and Ion Perez.
ABS-CBN accepted the fate after the appeals of Showtime were denied by the MTRCB but firmly reiterated that the show did not violate any law. They will be back on air on October 28.
And this Saturday, IYLD’s special guest is “Star For All Season” Vilma Santos, mother of Luis Manzano. The veteran star was introduced by his son.
When it was finally her time to talk, she commended the hosts of the show as she understood the feeling how difficult it must have been for them to accept a project that is slated to air for 12 days only.
In between her strength to stop her tears, she expressed, “Hindi ho madali yon. Pero itong It’s Your Lucky Day, tinanggap nila dahil hindi ho sila selfish. Alam ninyo kasi, twelve days, ipapasok lang sila dahil alam naman natin yung kaganapan.”
The fact that they accepted the offer that would really not last that long showed how selfless they were. They are selfless because this prioritized the goal of the show which is to offer entertainment and give luck to other people.
She, then, faced the hosts of the show based on the video and gave them a bow which took the young stars by great surprise.
This Saturday also marked the first week of airing of IYLD.
