ALDEN RICHARDS – The Kapuso superstar has this confession about actress Maine Mendoza and beauty queen Pia Wurtzbach.
Among the most popular stars of today in the GMA network is Alden Richards. Despite his apparent fame and popularity, the actor remained mum and private on matters regarding his personal life, especially his love life.
To recall, the actor reached the peak of his fame when he was paired with Maine Mendoza.
Their love team was known as “AlDub” and this love team has made record-breaking records in the entertainment industry. This love team has already disbanded but recently, in an interview with Boy Abunda in his Kapuso show, he was asked this question: “Did you fall for Maine Mendoza?”
He was evidently hesitant at first on what to answer and how to respond to this question but in the end, he chose to be honest.
The actor admitted that he did fall in love with her way back then. He expressed, “Ayoko pong sabihin na alam niya but I did confess.”
Meanwhile, Maine is now married to actor Arjo Atayde. They’ve had a grand and private wedding held at Baguio. Arjo and Maine’s wedding ceremony was held at  Alphaland Baguio Mountain Lodges Chapel, Baguio City, Benguet last July 28.
In the same interview, he was also made to admit his admiration for Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.
According to him, he had already seen her and was admiring her from afar. This was even before she won the said prestigious pageant. She and Pauleen Luna are best friends and since he and Pauleen were co-hosts in Eat Bulaga before, he was able to meet her.
“Nakikita ko siya na hindi naka-glam, ‘yung puso [niya] mabuti, and then after she won [Miss Universe], parang grabe,” he added.
He shared that she is really a kind and nice person and added that she has a good heart. And even after her success, he can attest to her that she has remained the same.
The actor said based on the interview, “I can attest that she has remained the same.”
