Someone got the jackpot and Vice Ganda had this story before the winning event happened.

A single mom wins the Php 750K jackpot in ‘Isip Bata’ and Vice Ganda shared this “nakakakilabot” story in the show.

Tears flowed on “It’s Showtime” on Tuesday, September 19. This is because someone deserving finally won the elusive jackpot prize of “Isip Bata”. Ate Ruby, the contestant, is a single mother and has been praying to win the game for the schooling of her children.

The jackpot prize swelled to Php 750,000.00 after several weeks of having no winners.

Ate Ruby took home a total of Php 761,000.00 and the cash prize was instantly given to her in cold cash. The single mom was in tears and was also happy at the same time that it looked like a heavy weight was lifted from her shoulders.

Her answer matched the answer of Argus, the “Batang Cute Po” and this was the straight correct answer that she did which made her score the jackpot prize. While crying, Ruby expressed, “Nag-ti-thank you talaga ako, kasi pang tuition talaga siya ng anak ko, kasi single mom ako, at wala akong trabaho.”

The Php 761,000.00 is her combined winning from the preliminary round to the jackpot round.

The hosts of “It’s Showtime”, amid the celebration, noted the coincidences and they were all amused by the coincidences which for them, seemingly signal the jackpot to be taken home.

And the story that Vice Ganda shared involves Argus. Accordingly, in an off-cam situation during the segment, Argus told the host that he wanted to go straight to college. And he connected it to the winner’s wish to send her daughter to college.

Anne Curtis and Kim Chiu were also amused as they were talking about the name “Kimberly” and co-incidentally, the name of the contestant’s daughter is Kimberly.

In the video, Vice advised the contestant to spend the money wisely.
