Vice Ganda Has Intriguing “Hugot” About Plastics

The comedian doesn’t collect plastics. Here’s what Vice Ganda said about the objects.

Kapamilya superstar comedian Vice Ganda has this “hugot” about “plastics” and shares what he does to them.

There’s an ongoing controversy regarding the suspension of It’s Showtime based on the decision from the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB). Based on the statement, the show will be suspended for 12 days but this decision is not final yet as the producers have already filed a motion for reconsideration.

And amid the ongoing controversy, the Kapamilya noontime which is currently airing on GTV, continues with their normal program.

In a previous article, Vice Ganda, one of the main hosts will accordingly extend help to the staff in case the suspension is finalized. Vice will allegedly give “ayuda” to the affected staff if the show will be suspended for 12 airing days.

As the show just continues, in a recent episode, Vice made a statement or “hugot” while they were interviewing a contestant in one of their segments. The contestant was collecting plastics to earn money.

A kilo of plastics is worth Php 2.00 and when Vhong Navarro asked him how much it was during his time, he abruptly expressed, “Ewan ko. Hindi ako nangongolekta ng plastic, ina-unfriend ko sila and I don’t re-friend.”

He said based on the video.

Meanwhile, MTRCB condemns ‘disturbing threats’ against Lala Sotto. They shared screenshots of the messages attacking the chair. Apart from the threats, they have also been receiving other harsh comments which range from urging Sotto to resign to wishing for her death.

The regulatory body called for “civil discourse and responsible criticism”. This kind of comment may not be illegal but it counters “the principles of a Filipino value-based media and entertainment culture”.

Sotto is the daughter of former Senate president Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.
