Jose Manalo stressed the importance of saying sorry
Comedian-host Jose Manalo has this reaction to the public apology that his fellow comedian-host Wally Bayola had after his “pagmumura” on E.A.T.
During the August 10 episode of TVJ’s noontime show on TV5, Wally cursed while they were on-air. This received criticism from the online community. Social media personality Rendon Labador called out the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) regarding the cursing incident.
Following the backlash, Wally apologized for his “pagmumura” on their noontime show. Based on a previous article, MTRCB summoned the E.A.T. and Rendon lauded MTRCB for doing an action.
In a recent interview that was posted on the X (Twitter) page of Bandera, Wally Bayola said that he can’t further comment on the issue because there is still an ongoing negotiation between MTRCB and the management of their noontime show.
However, he said that he willingly apologized after realizing what he did was wrong. Wally also said that he is willing to accept whatever the decision of MTRCB regarding this matter.
During the interview, Wally was with his friend Jose Manalo. The latter said that it is a good thing that this issue was addressed immediately. He also said that if you’re at fault, you really have to say sorry.
“Hindi nakakabawas ng pagkatao ang pagso-sorry,” Jose said, adding that the more a person displays humility, the better. “Hindi mo kailangang magmalaki dahil isa lang ang nasa taas at isa lang ang superstar,” the seasoned comedian-host said.

Meanwhile, it was revealed last June that Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola were offered P2 million by TAPE Inc. to stay in Eat Bulaga. However, they both declined as they will continue to be loyal to TVJ and their fellow legit Dabarkads.
