Baron Geisler talked about his wife, Jamie Evangelista
Kapamilya actor Baron Geisler highlighted the important role of his wife, Jamie Evangelista, in his healing journey.
Baron rose to fame as one of the teen stars in the 1990s. For many years, he did supporting roles and became one of the most well-known actors of his generation.
However, there was a time when his career went through a dark phase, as he was also going through a tough time. The actor admitted that he became dependent on alcohol, and this caused a lot of trouble in his life.
Fortunately, he was able to change. After realizing his mistake and having the determination to be better, he received the needed support he could have ever.
From sobriety to the gradual rise of his showbiz career, Baron Geisler’s star once again shines.
In his interview with Bianca Gonzalez for TFC’s BRGY, based on the article in Newsko, the actor said that Jamie gave him direction and stability amidst everything he went through.
“Si Jamie very instrumental kasi dahil sa kanya grounded ako. Pagdating sa bahay hindi ako artista. Pagdating sa bahay ano ako, father, husband,” Baron shared.
Jamie is a psychologist, and aside from being a wife to Baron, she gives that extra care when it comes to monitoring her husband’s mental health.
Baron shared that if there were times when Jamie would see a bad behavior returning, she would immediately remind him to go back to the right track, because his wife would see his patterns.
With the multiple roles that Jame Evangelista plays in his life, Baron Geisler couldn’t be more thankful.
“I am grateful na nandiyan siya to help me with everything. Taking care of the kids, our marriage, my life, my sobriety, and my career. And my relationship also with God,” the actor said.
