Pokwang Reveals She Has Suitors But No Time For Romance

Kapuso comedienne-host Pokwang revealed that she has several suitors but, for now, she has no time for romance.

The comedienne, also known by her nickname Pokie, has been very open about the status of her love life these past few months. She revealed the “struggles” that she went through when she was with her ex-partner American actor Lee O’Brian.

The issue between them has reached the court. Pokie filed a deportation case versus Lee last June. When asked about the reason why she filed the deportation case, the Ticktoclock host said that her ex-partner did an unlawful act. Lee filed a counter affidavit to defend himself.

In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Pokwang said that she is not ready yet to enter a new relationship even though she has several suitors. She stressed that romance is not her priority right now and that she just wants to work.

“Maraming nag-a-apply. Kaya lang naku sandali, kapag nalaman niyo ‘yung monthly amortization ko baka hindi na kayo magparamdam,” Pokie said. When asked if one of her suitors catches her attention already, the Kapuso star said none of them.

She reiterated that her goal right now is to keep on working. If the possibility will happen that she will have a foreign suitor, Pokie said that she wants him to be responsible and has a stable job.

Pokwang also shared that she really wants to change the last of her daughter Malia. She said that her daughter deserves a name that is giving time, love, and value to her. The comedienne also said that Malia did not feel sad when she and Lee broke up. “Mas umiiyak siya kapag wala ako sa tabi niya,” Pokie shared.
