It is officially the start of a legal battle for Pokwang
Kapuso comedienne Pokwang officially filed a deportation case against her ex-partner American actor Lee O’Brian.
The naturally-born American was able to meet the Pinay celebrity when they did the movie Edsa Woolworth in 2014. From that, their relationship from being co-stars became lovers.
Eventually, they welcomed their daughter Malia. In previous statements, after their breakup was confirmed, Pokie revealed that before Malia, she and Lee were supposed to have a baby already but she had a miscarriage.
Contrary to Lee’s statement that he loves his daughter so much, Pokwang said that at the very beginning, her ex-partner never wanted a child.
Months after the Kapuso comedienne hinted at her decision to bring this matter to the court, she shared a photo of a document from the Bureau of Immigration. On the afternoon of June 13, reports surfaced that Pokie officially filed a petition for Lee’s deportation.
She personally went to the Bureau of Immigration office to file the case. The comedienne was accompanied by her legal counsel Atty. Ralph Calinisan. ABS-CBN entertainment reporter MJ Felipe shared this on his Twitter page.
This was also posted on the official Instagram page of GMA News and there were netizens who bashed Pokie for filing a case against her former partner. There were those who said that she is bitter while some stressed she should just focus on her family.
On the other hand, there were netizens who showed support for the Pokwang saying that she did the right thing. Here are some comments.
