When it comes to the most beautiful countries across the globe, Korea will surely not fall behind the top placers. It is a home to several jaw-dropping and worth-visiting spots like the N Seoul Tower and the Namiseom Island and it also offers many of the most delicious foods.
A lot of Filipinos have it in their bucket list to visit Korea. In a different level, a lot of Pinoys want to go to Korea for business purposes — this hits two (2) birds in one stone, visiting the beautiful country and taking the chances of making money.
Korea is one of the nations that require visa upon entry. Meanwhile, it has generously cited the documentary requirements for Korean visa application for those who want to do business in the country.
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Philippines posted this list of requirements for Korean visa application for business purposes:
- Application Form
- 1 piece of Passport size colored picture
- Original Passport
- Photocopy of Passport Bio-page (page 2)
- Original & Photocopy of valid visa/s and arrival stamps to OECD member countries for the past 5 years (If applicable only)
- Copy of PRC Card or IBP Card (If applicable only)
- Photocopy of Business Registration from SEC or DTI
- Photocopy of Business Permit or Mayor’s Permit
- Original Personal Bank Certificate
- must include account name, account number, account type, current balance, account opening date, 6 months average balance (ADB)
- Bank Statement
- original or certified true copy of bank statements/passbook for the last 3 months
- Photocopy of ITR (Income Tax Return) or Form 2316
To apply for the visa, submit your documents to the embassy of Korea in your country. If you are employed and you wish to just visit the country for a tour, the embassy has crafted a different list of requirements for Korean visa application for employed individuals.
Aside from Korea, other countries that also require a visa before allowing entry are the United States and UK. There are requirements for the US Visa application as well as documents required for UK Visa application.
