Is Mikee Quintos ready to love again?
Kapuso actress Mikee Quintos had this answer when asked about the current status of her love life.
More than a year after her breakup with actor Paul Salas, the actress has found a new love interest. She revealed that she had actually preferred not to date single men anymore.
During his recent guesting on Kapuso afternoon talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda last Wednesday, August 26, the “King of Talk” Boy Abunda asked Mikee about the status of her heart.
The veteran host also asked if there was indeed someone special in her life now who is making her heart beat faster.
“Ang dami, madami. Hindi ko ibig sabihin, maraming lalaki, pero madami. Like projects, ‘yung mga animals na nakita ko, life in general. I’m really excited to see what the next chapters of my life have in store for me,” Mikee Quintos shared.
Tito Boy said he is happy about Mikee’s positive outlook on life these days. However, what he really meant to ask was whether there is a young man who has already captured the actress’s heart.
“Tito, parang ayoko nang binata,” the actress said, and immediately clarified her statement.
“Ito lang, one thing I’m sure of now, I came from a very public naman ‘yung relationship, ang gusto ko ngayon ‘yung sure, ‘yung sigurado na sa gusto niya, kung sino man siya ngayon. Kung sino man out there, I think that’s what I’m looking for: someone who’s sure,” Mikee explained.
As for Paul, Mikee can say that their relationship is in a good place, especially since their breakup was amicable.
In fact, the actress even said that she wants her ex-boyfriend to find love again. She shared that during their last conversation, they agreed to carry the four years they spent together into their respective futures as a good memory rather than a bad one.
The former couple decided to apply the lessons they learned from each other to their next relationships. That was their agreement.
