Soon-to-bride Maine Mendoza was given a fun bridal shower by her EAT “dabarkads”.
Kapuso actress Maine Mendoza is marrying Arjo Atayde this month and here’s the fun bridal shower party she received from EAT hosts.
The wedding of celebrity coupler Ajo Atayde and Maine Mendoza is just around the corner. Mendoza, 28, and Atayde, 32, have not released details on the date and place of their wedding but they did confirm that it is happening this year.
Last month, Arjo Atayde did “pamamanhikan” – a Filipino tradition where a man and his family visit his future bride’s family to ask for her hand in marriage.
To recall, Mendoza and Atayde got officially engaged on July 28, 2022. For their wedding, the actress revealed that TVJ will stand as godfather to her wedding. She stressed that she is not leaving the TVJ show even if she is married or gets pregnant.
And it looks like Arjo and Maine’s wedding is really happening soon as this July 22, Saturday, EAT dabarkads threw a fun bridal shower for her. This event was filled with fun, tears, and happiness.
Singer Joey Generoso sang “Got To Believe In Magic” for her while Carren Eistrup sang “Sway”. Ice Seguerra was also there and did not miss the chance to sing “Yellow” for her, a song of her favorite Coldplay.
At the event, she thanked everyone.
She said, “Maraming salamat, Miss Tapsi, couz Joey, Ice and Carren. Thank you Ninong Vic, Ninong Tito, Ninong Joey. Maraming salamat din dun sa mga Dabarkads na nandito ngayon. Alam kong masaya kayo para sa tatahakin kong journey as a wife—wow, wife era. Thank you, thank you!”
On Instagram, Maine gushed about the party and expressed how happy, grateful, and blessed she feels for everything including the love she is receiving from her fellow Dabarkads.
After their wedding, they will not be in a rush to have a baby. They definitely enjoy each other’s time first and then see what happens next for them. For now, they are just looking forward to their life as a married couple.
