It’s Showtime Returns To Channel 2, Kapamilya Show Now Airs On ALLTV

It’s Showtime will have a wider audience

Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime became a trending topic on social media on Monday because it returned to Channel 2 as it is now airing on ALLTV.

Channel 2 is now being occupied by AMBS’s ALLTV, the media company owned by billionaire businessman Manny Villar. To recall, Villar was able to acquire the frequency previously occupied by ABS-CBN in 2022.

From that, the ALLTV launch happened and new shows were introduced. However, the network had to take a break from airing some of its shows last year.

In April this year, a collaboration took place between ABS-CBN and AMBS. ALLTV is now airing Kapamilya shows airing on Jeepney TV which is also owned by ABS-CBN.

With this, Kapamilya fans were so happy that Kapamilya shows would have a bigger platform again.

On June 17, ALLTV and It’s Showtime became trending topics online. It is because the company owned by Villar started airing the Kapamilya noontime show.

Netizens shared a photo of their televisions tuned in to ALLTV with the Kapamilya noontime show.

The Kapamilya noontime show is currently airing on four channels – GMA, GTV, A2Z, and ALLTV.

Meanwhile, in the past weeks, It’s Showtime became controversial because of what happened in its segment Expecially For You. The hosts, especially Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda, were criticized for criticizing searchee Axel Cruz for allegedly stealing a kiss from searcher Christine.

Axel denied that it was a kiss and said that it was just a Bro Code hug and Christine said that it did not make her feel awkward. However, Vice retracted his apology after their team’s investigation and this received polarizing reactions from the online community.

Despite the controversies, the Kapamilya show continues to provide entertainment and laughter to all the avid Madlang People.
