Julia Barretto On Why Gerald Anderson Was Not Present At Her Movie's Premiere

JULIA BARRETTO – Here’s the short reply of actress Julia Barretto to questions about Gerald Anderson during her film’s premiere night.

In a previous article, Marjorie Barretto left nothing but praises for her daughter Julia Barretto and on-screen partner Diego Loyzaga for their “Will You Be My Ex?” movie. She is one of Julia’s worst critics but this one is something that stood out for her.

According to her, this film has given her lessons and realizations about second chances and letting go.

She went out of the theater with a new perspective regarding these matters and she also found their pair up a pleasant surprise. Marjorie was present at the premiere night of her film and her brother Leon.

However, one significant person in the actress’ life who was absent during this event was her boyfriend Gerald Anderson. The actor was absent which made many people ask and wonder why.

When Julia was asked, this was her response:

“He’s waiting for me for dinner after, so, panoorin na natin para makapag-date na kami.”

She did not make any further clarifications regarding the actor’s absence. Her film is now showing and a different side of her was shown in this. Many also expressed that she became more aggressive in portraying this character, especially in the kissing scenes.

But just like everyone else, what she wanted and hoped for is for people to support and watch their film as they really worked hard for this.

In a report from PEP, she expressed, “As always, I’m always just praying na everybody will like the film. Kapag pinaghirapan, you wished for people to see it and they’ll watch it.”
