Vice Ganda Thankful To GTV; Says “We don’t feel bad sa TVJ”

This is what Vice Ganda said about programming changes in TV5 and their move to GTV.

VICE GANDA – Kapamilya superstar Vice Ganda says they don’t have anything against TVJ but admitted that the changes were saddening.

ABS-CBN expressed appreciation for TV5 in a statement based on a previous article for letting Its Showtime have their noontime slot for a certain period of time. But to some changes in their programming, they were offered to have an afternoon slot but respectfully declined.

“We value the meaningful relationship we have built and nurtured with our audience in the noontime slot. It is for this reason that we have respectfully declined the 4:30 pm timeslot offered by TV5 for the show,” ABS-CBN said.

In an emotional post, main host Vice Ganda penned a message for their Showtime family. The comedian expressed that the announcement was sudden and saddening but the show will remain and continue because of the madlang people.

With these changes, the superstar comedian finally spoke and expressed that they don’t have any ill feelings towards TVJ. They don’t feel bad but he admitted that they got sad as they don’t know where to go next after this.

He also expressed his gratitude to GTV for opening the doors for their show. He vowed to not waste this opportunity given to them. He said, “Ngayon naman malinaw na sa lahat. Masaya kami na may nagsarang pinto, may bumukas ulit na isang pinto.”

The comedian added that after the announcement has been made, many of his friends from GMA messaged him and he was overwhelmed by the warm welcome.

Showtime will start airing on GTV on July 1 and will also be aired on A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and TFC from Monday to Saturday at 12 noon.
