Kathryn Bernardo On Best Actress Nominations Received

This is what Kathryn Bernardo said about the nominations.

Kapamilya superstar Kathryn Bernardo is nominated as Best Actress at 72nd FAMAS and 47th Gawad Urian awards.

One of the Best Actress nominees of the 72nd Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) and the 47th Gawad Urian awards is Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo. This is for her role in the film “A Very Good Girl”.

Based on the FAMAS 2024 nominees list, apart from Bernardo, the other actresses vying for the award of the said category are:

  • Maricel Soriano (In His Mother’s Eyes)
  • Charlie Dizon (Third World Romance)
  • Marian Rivera (Rewind)
  • Sharon Cuneta (Family Of Two)
  • Eugene Domingo (Becky & Badette)

On the other hand, according to the 47th Gawad Urian nominees list, the other nominated actresses for this category are:

  • Gabby Padilla, Gitling
  • Maxine Eigenmann, Raging Grace
  • Charlie Dizon, Third World Romance

With these recognitions, she feels nothing but “super grateful” adding that it did not occur to her immediately until the producer messaged her. She is not expecting or anything, she may win or not but she believes that the other nominees deserve the award.

She said, “Grabe im super super grateful actually nung nakita ko nomination hindi pa siya nag sink in sa akin until the producer messaged me then dun lang slowly nag sink in sakin and that’s a first for me so im not expecting anything actually kahit nomination lang hindi ko ineexpect so im just really grateful so win or lose deserve din ng other nominees yun.”

The awarding for the FAMAS 2024 will be on May 26 at the Fiesta Pavilion of Manila Hotel while the Gawad Urian 2024 will be on June 8 at De La Salle University.

Moreover, along with Alden Richards, they were held as the this year’s Box Office King and Queen by Box Office Entertainment Awards by the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation (GMMSF). The awarding was held  at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater in Ateneo De Manila University on Sunday, May 12.
