Rabiya Mateo talked about the success that she has now
Kapuso actress Rabiya Mateo expressed joy over her “nakakaluwag-luwag” status now after she started establishing her name in the entertainment industry.
Rabiya shared in past interviews the simple life she had with her mom before she joined Miss Iloilo and eventually represented her city in Miss Universe Philippines in 2020. After her pageant stints, she officially signed a contract with GMA-7.
Her recent acting stint in the Kapuso network is the primetime series Royal Blood with a star-studded cast led by Primetime King Dingdong Dantes.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Rabiya Mateo shared that this project has been offered to her in 2022. “Last year pa siya sinabi sa akin around September, pero siyempre, marami pa pong conflict sa schedule, yung kuwento kailangan pang buuin,” she said.
She shared that the cast members were finalized and she’s thankful that it took time because her co-stars are indeed well-celebrated in the industry. Rabiya jokingly said, “Kasi yung first teleserye ko, bigatin yung mga kasama ko so choosy pa ba ako? May TiktoClock naman po ako.”
Definitely, Rabiya is happy about the status career of her career now. When it comes to her financial status, she is now earning a lot compared to what she had before. When she was a student, she was just sleeping on the floor of her friend’s dormitory because she had no money but this has changed.
Right now, the Kapuso actress said, “Hindi naman mayaman, medyo nakakaluwag-luwag lang tayo.” When asked how she feels that she can now be able to buy the things she wants, she said, “Ang sarap po talaga! Kasi yung pinaka-turning point is yung sa pagkain. Kasi dati before ako makakain ng Jollibee, kailangan special occasion muna. Pero ngayon anytime.”
Then, Rabiya Mateo was asked if she is already an endorser of the popular Pinoy fast-food chain, she said that not yet and that she hopes this will happen, and she jokingly added, “Hello, Jollibee!”
