ITS SHOWTIME – These are the reactions of the hosts of Kapamilya noontime show Its Showtime about their transfer to GMA GTV.
When TVJ confirmed that they will be having a show on TV5, a rumor circulated about Its Showtime being taken out of the noontime slot of the Kapatid network emerged. There were hints from Showtime host Vice Ganda until ABS-CBN issued a statement that ultimately clarified the speculations.
Based on a previous article, ABS-CBN expressed appreciation for TV5 for letting their longest noontime show occupy their noontime slot.
“With the new programming movements in TV5, we are sad to announce that ‘It’s Showtime’ will no longer be seen on TV5 beginning July 1. We are also very grateful to GMA’s GTV Channel and happy to announce that ‘It’s Showtime’ has found another home,” the statement said.
It surely is a big change but many people expressed happiness over this collaboration between the two big rivals in television before.
With this announcement, the hosts of the show expressed nothing but excitement as they embark on this new journey in their new home. One of the main hosts Vice Ganda is “G na G” as well as the other hosts.
