Herlene Budol Chooses Career Over Love Life: "Magpayaman muna..."

In an interview, Herlene Budol reveals that she and her non-showbiz boyfriend broke up.

HERLENE BUDOL – Beauty queen-comedienne Herlene Budol reveals that she is now single – she chose career over love.

Beauty queen Herlene Nicole Budol start in the industry is no secret to the public. She started by being a contestant in a game show and because of her bubbly personality, the game show joined hired her to become a co-host.

This is how she became famous. She is also called Hipon Girl but her fame is not entirely because of her humor, it is also because of her truthfulness as a person.

Her journey went on and she became an actress and eventually, she turned into a beauty queen. She won the Binibining Pilipinas 2022 first runner-up title and is set to compete in Miss Grand Philippines 2023 pageant.

And with everything that is happening to her, she got a packed schedule which prompted something to occur. It wasn’t a sacrifice for her but because of her packed schedule, she and her non-showbiz boyfriend for five years decided to end things.

She is now single but they still have communication. Separation was a mutual decision they made and even though they are no longer together, they remained friends. This setup is better for them accordingly – no commitment.

“Desisyon po naming dalawa. Okay pa naman. Friends po kami, nag-uusap po kami, pero pinili po namin magtrabaho, magpayaman muna para sa pamilya po namin.,” she said based on a report from PEP.

She believes that they can always have love again but the priority, at this point in their lives, is to have a better life. To work hard and give their family the life they deserve.

So, they opted to be friends and focus on building a better future without each other.
