Is Herlene ‘Hipon Girl’ Budol Planning To Join Another Beauty Pageant?
HERLENE HIPON GIRL BUDOL – Kapuso star Hipon Girl Budol ended her Bb. Pilipinas journey as the 1st runner-up, does this mean this will be the last time that her fans will see her in the beauty pageant scene?
Hipon represented the Angono, Rizal at the Binibining Pilipinas 2022 pageant. Her fans were amazed at her transformation after she joined the national pageant.
It can be remembered that she admitted that she is not skilled in speaking English, Hipon said that she will speak Tagalog when she answers the questions. The 22-year-old Kapuso star ended her Bb. Pilipinas journey as the 1st runner-up but she was one with the most “budol” in the special awards category of the pageant.
Hipon Girl bagged Manila Bulletin Readers’ Choice Award, Binibining Shein, JAG Queen, Binibining World Balance, Binibining Pizza Hut 2022 Binibining Silka, and Binibining Kumu.
After the pageant, the comedian gave her heartfelt thanks to her manager Wilbert Tolentino for everything that he has done for her. Hipon She said he’s the best manager.

Based on a report from PEP, Hipon Girl will continue competing in beauty pageants. She and her manager confirmed this at Herlene’s victory homecoming in Angono, Rizal on August 5, 2022.
As the first runner-up, Hipon can replace in case one of the titleholders cannot compete in their respective international pageants for any reason. But it looks like Hipon and her manager won’t wait any longer.
Wilbert said he has said goodbye to Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. because he will find an international pageant for Herlene.
“Gusto ko lang sabihin sa inyo na humingi ako ng basbas ng Binibining Pilipinas na naghanap ako ng international pageant na ilalaban ko pa rin si Herlene,” he said.
Wilbert Tolentino said Hipon will use the Filipino language when she competes on the international stage. For now, Herlene will continue her showbiz career. She also has upcoming endorsements, said Wilbert.
Herlene agreed with her manager’s statement. She said, “Sabi nga ni Sir Wilbert, meron pa po tayong mga susunod na laban, kagaya sa international [pageants]. Isisigaw ko po doon at handang-handa na po ako sumigaw ng Pilipinas, kahit na Tagalog.”
“Dahil Pilipino po ako. Proud po ako na nagsasalita po ako ng wikang Pilipino. Taglish man o bobo man sa inyong paningin, para sa akin hindi lang po basehan ang pag-e-English pagdating sa katalinuhan,” she added.
Recently, Hipon Girl gave her fans a glimpse of her new house and lot. Her new property is located in Angono, Rizal.
In her Youtube vlog, Hipon shared that she dreamt of her late grandma on the day that they would be moving to their new house. The actress along with her family went to the house she now owns.
