Julia Barretto talked about her new movie with Diego Loyzaga
Actress Julia Barretto shared that she has a good experience working with actor Diego Loyzaga in the movie Will You Be My Ex?
After the loveteam era in her showbiz career, Julia explored different roles in movies. Prior to her movie with Diego, she did the movie Expensive Candy with Carlo Aquino in 2022. Her role in the said movie was a revelation of her versatility.
This year, she showcased her acting caliber in a movie that tackles a complicated love story. She played the character of Chris, a theater actress who is a happy-go-lucky girl.
Diego Loyzaga gave life to the character of Joey. He and Julia Barretto’s characters were college sweethearts. Years after they got separated, they meet again. Based on the article in Abante, one of the most talked about parts of the movie was the bathroom scene.
In the said scene, Julia and Diego were kissing each other intensely. The actress was asked if there was awkwardness when they did that scene.
“Absolutely no awkwardness,” she said. Julia explained that she and Diego have known each other for a long time now and they became closer when they did this project. She also pointed out that they have done scenes like this many times already.
“Wala siyang awkwardness, magkaibigan kasi kami. You know, it’s a safe place and we all very much trust each other, so, swabe lang lahat” the actress added.
Julia Barretto also stressed that she really trusts Diego Loyzaga. Their movie is set to be released in cinemas on June 21.
Meanwhile, Diego caught the attention of many netizens just recently when he posted a photo with a baby. With this many people are wondering who the mother is.
